Venture capital firm Peak XV is hosting over 60 startup founders on a Silicon Valley AI immersion trip from February 13-16, 2024. The goal is to connect Indian deep tech startups with leading AI innovators and strategize global growth.
Participating founders represent Peak XV's Surge cohorts and early-stage investments across sectors like AI, SaaS, and consumer tech. Notable startups attending include Rebrick AI, Arintra, Inferless, and Pix.ai.
The packed itinerary includes strategy sessions with execs from OpenAI and Nvidia as well as talks from former Uniphore CEO Umesh Sachdev. There will also be an AI Day to extract lessons from successful AI startups like Moveworks.
Peak XV managing directors Shailendra Singh, Rajan Anandan, Harshjit Sethi, and Ashish Agrawal are hosting the week. They aim to share insights on building world-class products and winning in the US market.
The program, dubbed "Immersion Week," spotlights Peak XV's expanding focus beyond investing. With AI competition heating up globally, the firm is leveraging its Silicon Valley connections to help Indian startups gain an edge.
The tour comes on the heels of SoftBank's October 2023 AI trip with Indian founders. As India's deep tech ecosystem matures, investors are facilitating Valley exposure to help startups level up AI capabilities and globalization.
